Richard Myrle Gardner

Richard Myrle Gardner passed away peacefully, in God’s presence, Tuesday June 6, 2023.

He was born on April 14, 1958 in Syracuse to Myrle and Frances (Barilla) Gardner.

Richard graduated from Paul V. Moore High School in 1976. He had a long career in the transportation industry.

Some of his enjoyment in life were spending time with his family and working on his cars.

Richard was predeceased by his father Myrle Gardner.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 41 years Pamela Gardner; children, Erica (Josh) Bush, Eric (Rebecca) Gardner, and Amy Gardner; grandsons, Mason and Gabriel; siblings, Terri (Ron) Reardon, Joe (Angela) Gardner, and Chris (Gary) Malone; his mother, Frances Gardner; also many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Calling hours will take place on Friday, June 9 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Divine Mercy Parish, 592 S. Main Street, Central Square, NY 13036.

A funeral service will follow immediately after.

In lieu of flower, the family ask that donations be made in Richard’s name to Francis House, 1078 Michaels Avenue, Syracuse, NY 13208.
