Rinaldo A. Spoto

Rinaldo “Rene” A. Spoto, 95, of Bridgeport, passed away on December 13, 2022 peacefully at home. He was born on April 2, 1927 in Syracuse to the late Carmen and the late Rosario (Pizzia) Spoto. Rene was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jane on October 3, 2010.

Rene served in the United States Naval Service- Coast Guard during WW II. Rene retired from General Electric. He liked fishing, playing cards, and dancing. Rene was truly a family man.

Rene is survived by his children, Kathleen (Jeff Duell) Wilson, Ronald Spoto, Karen (Ray) Hildebrand, and Maryellen (Bill) Meyers; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and his brother, David Spoto.
