Robert A Schmidt

Bob predeceases his wife of 60 years, Barbara. They have three children: Barbara Schmidt of Ogdensburg, Robert Schmidt (Toni) of Cleveland, and Sarah Woodruff (John) of Deerfield; one sister, Mary Charlesbois of Central Square; several nieces and nephews; thirteen grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren.

Bob belonged to the Cleveland Fire Department and North Shore Ambulance Corp. He was also a life member of the Central Square Fire Department. Bob retired from Syracuse University after 27 1/2 years. He loved his wolves and Indian pictures. He also enjoyed his western movies and playing with his grandchildren. He enjoyed watching Nascar and Green Bay Packers.

Calling hours will be from 11:00am - 1:00pm on Tuesday, July 2, 2025 at Traub Funeral home, Inc., 684 North Main Street, Central Square, New York.

He will be greatly missed by all.
