Robert Walter Chamberlin, 90, of Central Square, son of the late Walter William Chamberlin and Mona
(Hines) Chamberlin, passed away on December 18, 2022. Along with his parents, he was predeceased
by a daughter Margaret. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Carol (Menke) Chamberlin; sons Robert
Jr.(Susan), Carl(June), and daughter Cynthia(Lynn) Cuny. Seven grandchildren: Christine (Delano) Ridley,
Mariah, Carrie, and Elise Chamberlin; Lynn Jr. and Nicholas Cuny, and Courtney (Nathan) Balch; and two
great-grandchildren. Bob was in the Air National Guard at Hancock Field in Syracuse, NY for nine years and was honorably discharged in 1960 as a Staff Sargent.Bob worked for 42 years as a draftsman at Lipe Rollway and was a Trustee at the
First Baptist Church of Central Square for 40 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and
building/fixing things. He was a jack-of-all trades. The family thanks the nursing staff on the 6 South
floor at Crouse Hospital for the awesome care they provided. Contributions may be made to the First
Baptist Church of Central Square.
Calling hours will be at Traub Funeral Home in Central Square from 4- 6pm on December 26, 2022. Services will be held at the First Baptist Church at 11am on December 27, 2022.
