Robert W. Fiedler

Robert W. “Bob” Fiedler, of Bridgeport, NY, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 08, 2026.

Calling hours will be held at Traub Funeral Home in Bridgeport, NY, on Monday, July 13, 2026 from 5:00PM - 7:00PM.

Bob was born in Syracuse on September 15, 1949 to the late William and June Fiedler. He graduated from North Syracuse High School and served in the Air National Guard. 

He was a truck mechanic and later became a distributor for Mac Tools. Bob took great pride in his ability to fix anything. He loved the challenge of solving mechanical problems, and never said “I can’t”. Bob spent a lot of his free time outdoors. He enjoyed boating and fishing on Oneida Lake, as well as golfing with friends and lumberjacking. He was talented in carpentry and loved to build and repair items around the house and barn. 

Bob was a loving husband and father. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Surviving is his wife; Maureen Fiedler, his daughter; Anne Marie (Gary Gray) Fiedler, a step granddaughter; Quinn Gray, and his sisters; Donna (Chris Landolt) Fiedler and Diane (Bill) House, as well as several nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
