Robert George Kolcun (Bob) born in Corning, New York passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully at home early morning on February 10th. Born on January 5th, 1961, he brought so much joy to everyone through his passionate cooking. He was also an animal lover and treated his pets Marley, Opie, and Sammie like his own children. His children and grandchildren were his world. He was an avid New York Yankee's fan; even getting the team symbol tattooed on his arm. If anyone met Bob, they sure knew he could talk; striking up a conversation with anyone at any given time. He was predeceased by his father and mother; George and Vivian Kolcun, brother-in-law's Larry Clark and Joe Ruhmel, as well as his daughter Nicole Rosenbarker. He was survived by Patty Rosenbarker (Wife) (Central Square), Joan Thomas (Mother-in-law) (Brewerton), sons Mitchell Kolcun (Kellcy Hoffman) (Baldwinsville), Ryan Kolcun (Central Square), grandchildren Jameson, Damien, Walker (Baldwinsville), Naveia, and Brandino (Syracuse); sisters Janet Ruhmel (Horseheads), Barbara Clark (Horseheads), and Nancy Terwilliger (Alan) (Indianapolis). Services will be held Thursday, February 16th at Traub's Funeral Home from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in Central Square, New York with a celebration of life to be held immediately after at American Legion.
