Robert R. Muller, 78, passed away on March 3, 2025, in West Monroe, New York.
Born on December 5, 1946, in Whitestone, New York, Robert proudly served his country in the United States Army. As a Signal Corps specialist (E4), he was stationed in Germany and Holland for three years beginning in February 1968. His time in the military was a defining chapter of his life, and led to his love of our flag as a true patriot. He earned a sharpshooter Medal with the M14, but you wouldn't know it if you saw him shoot.
Robert had a deep appreciation for the outdoors. In his younger years, he found joy in hunting and fishing, embracing the tranquility and challenge of nature. He also had a passion for cooking and an even greater love for savoring good food and drink, especially his stingers. . Later in life, he cherished the peace of his home in the North Country, where he took great pleasure in feeding and watching the wildlife around him. He was always watching FOX news and yelling at the TV , unless the Yankees or Giants were on.
He is survived by his sons, Shawn Muller and his wife Char, Chad Kelley and his wife Geri, as well as a sister Linda of Connecticut and her sons, Jonathan, Michael, and Anthony.
Robert held a special place in his heart for his friends, whom he considered family by choice. He was a cherished father and friend; his sense of humor made you realize he had no filter.
Robert’s memory will live on through those who knew him and shared his love for nature, good food, and his companionship. The memories shared and stories told by those who mourn his passing will keep him alive in our hearts. May his legacy bring comfort to all who knew him.
As per his wishes there will be no services or viewing. If you wish to make a contribution in his name, please donate to T2T.org as he was an avid supporter of Tunnel to Towers.
