Robert “Bobby” J. Beebe, of Pheonix NY passed away on Wednesday December 18, 2024 at home, with his family by his side.
Visitation will be held Friday, December 27 2024 from 2:00pm-4:00pm at Traub Funeral Home in Central Square, with a service and military honors to follow at 4:00pm.
Robert was born in Mooers, NY to the late Ernest and Florence Beebe on December 13, 1950. He enlisted in the United States Army, and served his country overseas.
Bobby was incredibly musically gifted. Though he couldn’t read a note of music, he played a variety of different instruments. He played by ear, and was especially talented in the guitar, organ, piano and drums. He made sure to always include his family and children in his love for music.
Bobby also enjoyed fishing, and the occasional game of billiards pool. He belonged to the American Leigon post #418 in Phoenix, NY. His jokester personality and sense of humor will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Besides his parents, Robert is predeceased by his wife; Martha Sue Beebe, his siblings, Clifford Beebe and Patricia Beebe, as well as an infant sister; Joyce Beebe.
Surviving Robert is his brother; Melvin Beebe, his children; Lisa (Chris) Beebe, Lana (Robin) Yager, and Robert A. (Terri Jo) Beebe, mother of his children; Darlene Haldstead, his grandchildren, Tim Jones, Jesse (Chelsey) Beebe, and Kayla Beebe, 4 great grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
