Ronald L Ross

Ronald Leo Ross, age 80, of Central Square, passed away peacefully at home on September 29, 2020 surrounded by his loving family and close friend Denise Bliss.

Ron is survived by his wife of 58 years, Patricia Klett Ross; his sons, Randall (Laurie) of Virginia, Richard (Marsha) of Pennellville and Roderic of Pennsylvania; brother Robert of Lowville;  grandchildren David, Hannah, Payton, Rene, Saige and Ethan; nephew Robert of Liverpool; and several great nieces and nephews. Ron was predeceased by his sister-in-law Michelle Andre Ross and niece Theresa Ross Golden. 

Ronald was born in Lowville, Lewis County to the late Leo F Ross and Mildred Flint Ross. He graduated from SUNY Canton and Utica and had a 40 year career with Carrier Corporation in Syracuse NY before retirement. Ron was a 50 year member of Desert Swamp Hunting Club. He enjoyed traveling, gardening, playing cards and watching sports.  He also enjoyed hunting and fishing with his sons, brother and grandchildren. Ron will be remembered for his good nature, kindness and devotion to his family.

Friends may call on Friday, October 2, 2020 from 1pm-3pm or 6pm-8pm at Traub Funeral Home, 684 N Main St, Central Square, NY.  Services will be private.
