Ronald L. Teles, “Ron”, of Mexico, NY passed away peacefully on Friday, July 10, 2026.
Ron was born on June 29, 1945 to Ida and George Teles. His parents predeceased him, as well as his sister; Ida.
He grew up going to various farms and auctions with his father, learning to care for cattle. From an early age, he worked under a butcher, learning the process. Later he worked as a butcher at many of our local stores, his favorite being Tops Supermarket in Pulaski, NY. Ron enjoyed his small farm, raising cows and continuing to go to auctions with his friends over the years. In his free time, he liked going out to eat, listening to music, especially oldies, motown, disco and country. He seldom missed ‘Dancing with the Stars’, and spent his evenings watching reruns of old westerns on TV starring Randolph Scott or John Wayne.
Surviving is his aunt of 104 years old; Evelyn Fox of Davie, Florida, several cousins, many friends including Darlene Humiston, her son; Eric, and her grandson; Axel. His friends extended to the Amish community, where he spent time visiting them, and often helping to transport their animals. He also built close relationships with those he worked with at Tops. Ron will be dearly missed.
