Ronald Morris Wallenbeck

Ronald M. Wallenbeck, 78 of Constantia, NY passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, February 22, 2024.

Born in Auburn, NY Ron served in the Navy as a swift-boat mechanic aboard the USS Essex. He was a mechanic and truck driver for many companies throughout his career.

Ron loved fishing and for 50 years he traveled to Northern Quebec to a favorite spot. He retired to Wallenbeck mountain and the stack log home he built with his wife.

He was predeceased by his mother; Jean, his wife Lorraine, and his brothers; Robert and Fred Wallenbeck.

Ron is survived by his sons; Bart, Chris, and Todd Wallenbeck, his sister; Darlene, his brother; Richard Wallenbeck, and three grandchildren. 

Visitation  will be held on Friday, March 1, 2023 from 4:00PM to 7:00PM at Traub Funeral Home in Central Square.
