Samuel S. Heer

Samuel S. Heer, 83 of Central Square, New York died Saturday, November 4, 2023 at The Grand Nursing and Healthcare Center in Chittenango, New York.

He was born in Palermo, New York son of the late Paul and Fern Barnes Heer. Samuel retired from the Town of Palermo following 31 years of service as a Heavy Equipment Operator.  He was actively involved in local auto racing and enjoyed fishing.

Mr. Heer is survived by his wife the former Lynda J. Anderson; sons, Scott and Samuel A. Heer; daughter, Shelley Turner, five grandchildren, a great grandson, several nieces and nephews

Services will be 11:00am on Friday, November 10, 2023 at the First Baptist Church, 701 North Main Street, Central Square, New York.
