Sheila M. Kennedy

Sheila Kennedy, 64, of Central Square, passed away peacefully surrounded by her children following a courageous battle of cancer.

Over the years, Sheila has overcame many different health issues. Sheila will be remembered for her positive outlook on life, sarcastic sense of humor, and her Boston accent. Sheila was a devoted mother, sister, family member, and friend. Most importantly, her favorite title was Nana to her five grandchildren, Gabriel, Colton, Aubrey, Kendra, and Robert.

Sheila is predeceased by her mother, Maureen Kozlowski; step-father, Robert Kozlowski; and brothers, Edward and Stephen Kennedy.

Sheila is survived by her children Joey Kowanes, Amanda Hare, and Courtney Kowanes; five grandchildren; brothers Michael, Patrick, and John Kennedy, Dean Kozlowski; sister Maureen Douglas; and many extended family and friends.

Calling hours will be Tuesday October 29, 2024 from 4-6pm at Traub Funeral Home in Central Square.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday October 30, 2024 at 9:30am at Sacred Heart Church. There will be a private family gathering following services.
