In Loving Memory of Shelly Marie Cudworth
May 19, 1966 – July 8, 2026

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Shelly Marie Cudworth on July 8, 2026, at the age of 60.

Born on May 19, 1966, in Hastings, New York, Shelly was the daughter of the late Frank and Barbara Miller Taylor. She was a woman of strength, kindness, and unwavering love for her family.
In addition to her parents, Shelly was preceded in death by Stephen Cudworth; and her siblings, Belinda Taylor, Frank Taylor, and Penny Taylor.

She is survived by her daughter, Tracy Cudworth (Jon Cascella); her cherished grandchildren, Annabelle and Stephen; and a precious granddaughter expected later this year. Although they never
had the chance to meet, Shelly eagerly awaited her arrival, and her newest granddaughter will always know how deeply she was loved. Shelly also leaves behind her devoted partner, Matthew “Wally” Hinman, whose love, companionship, and unwavering support meant so much to her. She is also survived by her sisters, Lori (Bob) Birch and Patricia (Randy) Reynolds; her brother, Mark Taylor; and many other loving family members, relatives, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Shelly will be remembered for her wisdom, honesty, and fierce love for her family. She never hesitated to tell the truth, always wanting the best for those she loved, and was famously hard to
beat at a board game. She also loved unwinding with her favorite reality competition shows, always cheering on her favorites and enjoying the conversations they inspired. Her strength, laughter, and love will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2026 from 11:00am to 12:00pm with a service to follow immediately at Traub Funeral Home, Inc., 684 North Main Street, Central Square, New York.
Burial will be in Hastings Cemetery, Hastings, New York.
