Stuart R. "Stu" Boice, 68, of Cleveland, passed away on Monday, April 19, 2021.
Stu was a graduate of Wm. Nottingham High School. He was a member of AZ (Alpha Zeta) fraternity. He owned and operated Sherman's Market, a corner store in the Westcott neighborhood. Continuing in retail, Stu became a Premier "Picker" before it was a recognized career. Also being a MOPAR fan, it led to Stu buying and selling his treasures at many car shows.
Stu would do anything for anyone. He was of the "old school ways," leading to long term loyalty and friendships, many of more than 40 years, even though he could be known as a "2nd" cousin of the Grinch, as his granddaughters lovingly nicknamed him "Grumpa." Stu had a wide range of influence on many people. He will be greatly missed. A special "thanks" to his pitch card buddies.
Stu is predeceased by his parents George and Flora Boice, of Syracuse, and brother George Boice of Alaska. He is survived by his life partner of more than 20 years, Coreen "Cory" Woolson; son Shane R. Boice; granddaughter Gia; grandson Sloan; sisters Nancy (Steve) Hallock and Sandy (Joe) Constantino; and many nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19, there will be no services.
