Susan Kay (Broedlin) Grosso

Susan Kay Grosso, 62, of Hastings, New York, passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse, New York.

Born on February 25, 1963, in Middletown, Connecticut, Susan was the beloved daughter of the late Donald Broedlin and Kay(Lafave) Martin. Susan worked as a Respiratory Therapist Assistant in New Jersey, where her gentle nature and kindness were deeply appreciated. She enjoyed vacationing with her sisters, especially their trips to Hawks Nest Beach, where she loved swimming in the ocean, walks on the beach, and the local lobsters. Susan was known for her genuine happiness and the way she always made others feel welcome, no matter the occasion.

She is survived by her siblings; Rudi Broedlin, Jeannie Trombley, Patti Broedlin, and Allison (Duane) Golden, as well as several nieces and nephews who adored her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
