Obituary
Terence W. Ramsey, 75, of Erieville, New York passed away from complications related to Parkinson's Disease on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at the Francis House in Syracuse, New York. The son of the late Donald and Norma Bennett Ramsey, he was born on August 6, 1948 in New Berlin, New York.
Terence graduated from New Berlin High School. Following graduation he enrolled in the Peace Corps where he served in the Dominican Republic where he met his wife Felicia, and they spent 49 years of marriage. He served his community as a Professor at SUNY Delhi College, a teacher off FAA/Technology at Cazenovia High School and a Pastor for Churches in both Madison and Lebanon Churches. Mr. Ramsey was an avid hunter who loved to spend time outdoors and taught Conservation and small hunter classes to the young and anyone else eager to learn.
In addition to his wife Felicia Alvarez, those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Pedro and Doug (Allison) Ramsey of Parksburgh, Pennsylvania; daughter, Jillian (Jason) Goldstein of Columbia, South Carolina; five grandchildren, Alexandra, Nathaniel, Oliver, William and Megan Ramsey; and a sister, Connie (Richard) Bloom of Gladwin, Michigan.
No memorials are scheduled at this time to give family members time to prepare for an appropriate Celebration of Terence's life for family and friends. Information will become available when arrangements are made.
