Thomas P. Bronner Jr, 55, of West Monroe passed away unexpectedly on Thursday December 26, 2024.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 18 2025 at Woody’s in Central Square beginning at 2:00PM, open to all friends and family.
Tom was born in Syracuse to Thomas and MaryAnn Bronner Sr. on April 22, 1969. He graduated from Paul V. Moore high school in 1988 and married Melissa Thompson at the Dewitt Community Church in 2008.
Thomas had a talent for fixing things, especially boats. He ran his own business, “Jr. 's Boat Motor Repair” and some even called him “The Boat Whisperer”.
Oneida Lake was a special place for Tom. He was always out on the water, whether it be on water skis, a jet ski or just one of his many boats. On land, he enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, and riding dirt bikes with his boys.
More than anything, he had a love so grand for his six children. He made it a priority to be present, and loved going to their hockey games, teaching them the lake and spending summer days on the water.
His big heart made him the kind of person to always have your back, and always willing to lend a hand even if it meant coming to get you in the middle of the lake because you ran out of gas.
Tom is survived by his parents; Thomas and MaryAnn Bronner Sr., his wife; Missy Bronner, his children; Laura (Anthony), Tommy (Larry), Isabell, Chase, Austin and Levi, a grandson; Nicholas Rodriguez Jr., his siblings; Jason (Allison) and his favorite sister Jody Reber, as well as several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a brother; Tracy Bronner, and a brother in law; Mike Reber.
