Thomas W. Gibbons, March 26, 1948 - July 6, 2023
Thomas, 75, passed away peacefully in his sleep at the VA Hospital after a prolonged battle with cancer.
He is survived by his bride of 37 years, Lisa, children Eric, Kimberly (Terry Hughes), Thomas II (Erin Murphy), Andrew, and Amanda.
His siblings David (Solly), Debby (John Cable), Madonna Anderson, and Jim (Lisa), as well as many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
His pre-deceased family members include his parents, James and Madonna Gibbons, and sister Patricia Joseph.
Tom was a proud Marine Corps Vet who served in Vietnam defending his country. He will always be remembered for being everyone’s friend and never knowing a stranger. He was quick-witted and always knew how to use sarcasm to liven up a conversation. Met everyone with a contagious smile and a hug.
Tom enjoyed fishing, telling tall tales, corn hole, pitch, getting his back scratched, but most importantly, spending time with his family and friends.
Celebration of Life to be held at the Constantia VFW - 1560 NY-49 Constantia, NY 13044, Sunday, July 16th from 1-5pm.
