Thomas Yorker Obituary
Thomas K Yorker, 74, of New Port Richey, Florida, previously of
Pennellville NY, passed away on January 29, 2023, from a long-term
illness, with his family by his side.
Tom was born on April 19,1948, to the parents of the late Earl and the late Marion
Yorker in Syracuse New York. After graduating from Onondaga High
School, he was drafted in 1968 serving 2 years in the US Army.
In 1970, Tom was married to his wife of 52 years, Norma in Syracuse, NY.
Tom and Norma went on to have 2 children, Mark K. Yorker and Krista L.
Yorker. In 2013 Tom retired from Crucible Industries and spent his time in
Florida in the winters and Summers in New York, enjoying his time with
family and friends.
Tom is survived by his wife of 52 years, Norma J Yorker; his son Mark
(Kristina) Yorker; daughter Krista Yorker; grandson, Matthew Yorker and granddaughter, McKenna Yorker;1 sister, Linda
(Robert) Matteson; and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and
nephews.
A graveside service will be held at Pine Plains Cemetery in Clay, New York at a future date.
