Timothy Bowersox Obituary

Timothy A Bowersox, 82, of Phoenix, New York passed away on Sunday May 17th, 2026 at his home. He was a life long resident of Phoenix. He spent many years working at Nestle' in Fulton and then as a machine operator at Goulds Pumps in Baldwinsville, New York before they relocated. He then worked at Chase Pitkin Home & Garden, Great Northern Mall, McLane Northeast, and other local companies until retiring in 2006.

      He enjoyed family dinners, coffee and conversations...about everything from kids to sasquatch to aliens! He loved tending to the fire, watching the birds and the occasional trip to town. He was always ready to help if he could or at least tell a good story! Everyday was his "Lucky Day" and things were just "Wonderful".

      He was predeceased by his wife the former Elsie Woodridge who died in 2006; son Timothy Bowersox, as well as his brothers Elton Jr, Danny and sister Connie. He is survived by his daughter Tina Bowersox of Seabring, Florida and her children Kiernan Sauthoff of Seville, Ohio and Kyle Peck of Liverpool, New York; daughter in law Juanita (Tim) Bowersox-Macko and her children Jeffrey (Kayla) Bowersox of Pennellville, New York, Brandi Torres of Tacoma, Washington, Miranda Bowersox of Auburn, New York, Gregory Bowersox and Haley Bowersox both of Fulton, New York. He also had five great grandchildren Keelyn, Kinley, Anna, Eliana and Kyle Jr.; sisters, Judy Poland of Cortland, New York, Shirl Collins of Hope Mills, North Carolina; brothers Rodney of Cave City, Arkansas, Mark (Rebecca) of Sempronious, New York and Tom (Linda) Bowersox of Phoenix, New York.

     The family will hold a private gathering to celebrate his life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Phoenix Food Pantry.
