Wendell W. Willis 78 of Bernhards Bay went home on Tuesday September 24th
Past commander of Cleveland American Legion Post 858 where he was life time member. He was an avid sportsman of golf, horseshoes, bowling, cards and loved to tinker in his garage.
He worked at Monroe Tractor for over 40 yrs. He served his country in the Army from 1963-1965.
He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather. He is predeceased by his loving wife Midge of 50 years,and his beloved dog Duke.
Survived by his son Steven (Patti) Willis of Taberg Daughter Sherry (Ken) Lambert of Bernhards Bay. Grandchildren Wendie (Jake) Skinner, Stephanie Lambert, Ken Lambert and Justin Dobson. 7 Great-Grandchildren. Brothers Richard (Marilyn)Willis of Ca. Donald ( Joan ) Willis of West Monroe.
Calling hours will be Friday September 27 from 4-7 at Watson Funeral Home 631 So. Main St. Central Square. Services will be Saturday September 28 at 10:00 am. Burial will be at the Constantia Center Cemetery following the Services.
