Wesley P. Lang

Wesley P. Lang, 85, passed away on December 9, 2023 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Syracuse.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 12, 2023 from 5pm to 7pm at Traub Funeral Home in Bridgeport, NY with a service to follow at 7PM. Wesley will be laid to rest at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. 

Wesley was born a twin, to the late Carl and Emily Lang in Syracuse on May 19, 1938. He married Patricia Brown, and had various jobs during his life; from antiquing to trucking. Wesley was also once a member of a Barbershop Quartet in Syracuse, and served his country in the United States Navy. 

A lover of the outdoors, Wesley loved living on the lake, making time for hunting and fishing as often as he could. He was known for his sense of humor, and could always be found soaking up the sun in his gazebo. He especially loved spending time with his great grandchildren, that he affectionately referred to as “The Greats”

Surviving Wesley is his loving wife; Patricia, his son; Daniel (Dawn) Lang, his grandchildren; Amber (Stephen) Lang, Patricia (Christopher) Hatfield and Shannon (Daimon) Shoemaker, “The Greats”, Emma, Lucas, Daniel and Lawson, a sister; Louise Eckert, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Wesley is predeceased by his twin brother; Leslie Lang, as well as many other siblings.
