William James Flandera

William James Flandera DOB 9/3/48 (75 years old) DOD 10/10/23 passed away at his home. He was predeceased by his parents, William and Ann Marnell Flandera and a brother Ed Flandera.

Survived by his wife of 55 years Jean Marie Flandera, daughter Carrie Flandera (Nick), Terri Curtis (Shannon), Grandsons Corey Woodmancy (Alesha), Zachary Stukey (Kelly) and 2 great grand daughters Adrianna Woodmancy and Aurora Stukey; brothers, Tom and John Flandera.

Bill played many roles in his life, he was a husband, father, Pa, Bompa, and each role he somehow mastered. He was a man with much wisdom and had a work ethic that he taught to his kids and grandkids. He had two lifelong best friends Rich Robin he met at RaLins and Rick Mecomonaco owner of United Vacuum, they were considered the 3 amigos. They were like brothers. Bill had a huge RaLins family for 30 years, and then he began another career at OPWDD and he had a great group of friends there as well. 

He was a very giving and loving dad to his 2 daughters and his 2 grandsons and their daughters. He also “adopted” his grand puppy and he became her person. Ky pup already along with all his family members miss him terribly.
