William Arthur Goldsmith

William A. Goldsmith of Central Square, NY, passed away on October 23, 2023, after a short illness.

Born March 13, 1958, in Elmira, NY, to Charles and Gladys Goldsmith.

Bill was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Gladys Goldsmith; his brother, Chuck Goldsmith; and nephew, Jeff Goldsmith.

Bill is survived by his Fiancée, Sue Demore and their beloved dogs and cats; Bill’s son, Trevor Goldsmith; his sister, Carol Goldsmith Tarbell ;nieces, Cheryl, and Susie of Indiana; sister-in-law, Pam Goldsmith; step-son, Jason Vurraro; step-daughter, Lynda (Jeff) Hier; Grandchildren, Lee Goldsmith, Charlie Squadrito, Cheyenne Hier, Robert, Heather, Dominic Vurraro; his brother-in-law and racing partner, Harry Henderson; along with so many extended family and friends.

Bill raced at Esta Dragstrip Cicero, NY and Empire Dragway Rochester, NY, where he was known as “Wild Bill”.

A celebration of life will be held in the summer.
