William Goldych Obituary
William “Bill, Goldy” Goldych passed away January 4 th 2022 at the age of 71.
Bill graduated from Phoenix Central Schools, then attended Mohawk Valley Community College and
SUNY Brockport, receiving a bachelor’s degree in Botany.
Bill was best known for his kindness and compassion to all, and was a good friend and neighbor to many.
He had great appreciation for nature and animals, enjoyed feeding birds and wildlife daily, and caring for
his beloved dog Sweetie.
Bill was predeceased by his parents Metro and Mary (Kaminski) Goldych, and brothers Michael and
Richard Goldych. He is survived by siblings, Irene, Metro Robert “Bob” (Pam), Anne, Margaret and
Lorraine; sister-in-law Eileen; nieces and nephew, Vanessa, Eric, Gina (Roger), Stephanie (Jude), Brielle,
Tera; great niece and nephews Cassandra (Mel), Miles, Kwame, Theo; and great-great niece and nephew
Averi and Jace.
Calling hours will held on Thursday January 12 th at Traub Funeral Home, 684 N. Main St., Central Square,
NY from 3-5pm.
