Dear Colleen, I am so very sorry to hear of your brother's passing. Dan and I worked together doing insurance claims for over twenty years. Not only was he an excellent Adjuster he had a great sense of humor about his job and himself.
When I would visit him at the lake I always asked what is the next book I should be reading. He always had a number of his favorites. I would remind him that his home looked like a library because he was such a prolific reader that loved books. (and wouldn't get rid of them).
In closing, I want to thank you for looking after your brother the way you did. He would always commented on how much you helped him during his medical treatments. I sensed a close bond between the two of you, I know he loved you very much.
I will always remember your brother for the good and bad times we shared. He was like a brother to me also, and I will miss the his laughter and stoic sense of humor. Take care of yourself, I will keep you and your Family in my prayers. God Bless You, Jeff

thankyou jeff . Dan spoke of you often and enjoyed your friendship very much. He did love his books. My husband and I have managed to find a new home for all three hundred of Dan's books. We miss him.

I worked with Dan over the years in insurance and he was always pleasant and we always found something to laugh about. I'm sorry to hear of his passing.
