To my sister and family: Lloyd was a rock for us all. He will be laid to rest later today but will remain a part of us forever and thank you for bringing him to our family. To Josie and Family, We are very sorry for your loss. I know Lloyd loved his family more than anything else., and spoke about you often. Lloyd and I were office mates for many years and had (I believe) a special bond. I would distract Lloyd while he was working in the office. And he would bust my chops when he relised I was doing it on purpose. We spent countless hours on work days together, and I know we learned a lot about each other. I thought of Lloyd as a brother, and I believe he felt the same. Through the past several years, our time spent together had almost ceased. However, He always attempted to stay in contact with me, even when I had my head up my butt! Lloyd understood my ways, and never gave up on me. Lloyd was a very unique man, and I will miss him dearly. My prayers are with you and the family. Please know Lloyd will always be in my thoughts.

Although Lloyd has been called to his eternal home, his inborn sense of humor and optimistic soul will be terribly missed by us all. Many years ago, Lloyd took his Kansas Roots with him to New York when he met and fell in love with Josie, married her, and lived there for the rest of his life. We Kansans missed him, but were more than happy to share him with Josie, because we loved her too. You know we are with you in spirit, and would be there if I didn't have to have dialysis three times a week. Stay strong by drawing on each others strengths. We love you.
